Maroon Five frontman Adam Levine has taken a break from selling out stadiums and appearing on the cover of Time to nail some of his groupies--specifically, three of them at the same time. Levine, who was linked to Jessica Simpson soon after her breakup with Nick Lachey, was seen at Cain in New York City with a group of his buddies drinking tequila and bottles of Dom Perignon. When Levine finally left:
[he] was spotted stumbling out of the club with three ladies he escorted back to his room at the Mercer Hotel. A rep for Levine said, "not true."
Of course the rep said "not true." That's what celebrity PR reps do. They lie. Remember when Hitler's PR rep called German concentrations camps super awesome vacation spas? Trust me--my major in college was history--that happened.
I really wish PR reps would go the way of Tom Cruise's career and make overt displays of heterosexuality to prove that he doesn't like men when everyone knows the only reason he hooked up with Katie Holmes was because she's taller than him and--with enough shot of tequila--slightly resembles a man. Oops, sorry for going off on that little tangent. I meant to say "disappear"
Actually, Auschwitz did have a swimming pool (diving board included) for the inmates, well as a hospital and a dentist. The inmates also received money and cigarettes.

Let assume for a moment that you are completely correct... that Auschwitz was in fact a forced labor camp and not an extermination camp...
Then please explain the Einsatzgruppen... and while you furrow your brow in confusion and run off to google to find out who they were, make sure to look up Babi Yar as well... oh and the Sonderkomando and why they revolted at Auschwitz and sacrificed their lives to blow up ovens as opposed to escaping and how we know this to be true, not only through eyewitness accounts but both Jewish and German writings....
I have a Masters in history and have studied this at length and the only real speculative aspect of Auschwitz wasn't its purpose but its actual rate of death... some say as low as 640,000 other as high as 1.5 million....

Finally, if only 640,000 - 1,500,000 people died at Auschwitz, then why would Hoess confess to overseeing the murder of 3 million? It doesn't make any sense, does it?

I do have a masters in history, from Cornell in 2003, and as for reading this site, whats a bachelors student in history reading this site for? that is neither relevant nor germane to the discussion...
as for onethirdoftheholocaust.com, ive actually seen all of those videos and find them interesting, especially about the camp layouts versus eyewitness accounts and the statistical analysis of how to dispose of so much human remains...
but if you read my first post, you will notice that my argument is not over the camps... im not conceding the point, only that many have found it debatable... my primary point is that despite all the evidence for or against what the camps were (and there is much more evidence to support it, in writting, by the germans), is that no holocaust denier, not one, can get around the einsatzgruppen... Otto Ollendorf and other einstazgruppen leaders kept meticulous documentation of the atrocities they committed as they headed east... it is undeniable that their primary goal was to execute Jews and other partisans in the areas they controlled. they documented how many per day, even how they were shot and how they were buried in an attempt to make future einsatzgruppen encounters more efficient...
i was research assistant on the book Master of Death by Richard Rhodes, speak fluent German and actually was able to handle many of the documents the Nazis created... Ich denke persönlich, daß Sie dumm sind...
so say all you want about the camps but you cannot deny the forced and pointed extermination of the Jews at Nazi hands...

I'm not denying the Einsatzgruppen killed Jews for being Jews. But the number of Jews they killed is relatively small. I'm not excusing it, I'm not glorifying it, I'm saying it was not a wholesale slaughter of millions of innocent Jews. Furthermore, the work of the Einsatzgruppen was not a pogrom of "mass-extermination"...there never was such a thing.
Anyway, all of this stemmed from Nick's satirical use of "German concentration camps"; which to the uninformed will inevitably conjure up images of gas chambers, something you and I should both know did not exist.
well I guess if you consider the 1.5 million recorded as being executed by the Einsatzgruppen a relatively small number then I guess so...
but im done with this topic... i come to sites like this for fun and not to debate my research and work... lol...
