According to corporate gossip monolith TMZ, K-Fed's demanding custody of the kids from Britney (apparently Britney announced a divorce or something earlier this week...details are still a little sketchy):

Federline is asking for legal and physical custody of the couple's children. Sources tell TMZ that Federline will fight Spears on the custody issue. In the response, obtained by TMZ, Federline is asking the judge to award Spears visitation. Federline is also asking the court to award him spousal support.

This is why I'm glad I'm not a judge in California. How do you decide between the two? On the one hand you have Kevin, who pretty much abandoned his kids to promote his new album. And then there's Britney, who doesn't know how to work a child car seat and once literally dropped her son. That's like trying to decide if you want crushed glass or metal shavings on your ice cream cone.
