Lesbian rocker Melissa Etheridge and her partner Tammy Lynn Michaels are celebrating after becoming parents to twins.

The singer/songwriter announced the happy news on her official Web site yesterday. In a short message posted on the site, Etheridge revealed the new arrivals were son Miller Steven and daughter Johnnie Rose. The twins were born on October 17.

So which lesbian had the twins? Judging by Melissa Etheridge’s “handsome” looks and “boyish” charm, I’m guessing she’s not the mother. And what’s with giving their daughter such a manly name? All the Johnnies I know have a penis and can throw a football fifty yards.
