It should probably come as no surprise to you that Jessica Simpson hates reading scripts. One creative screenwriter got around this problem by employing an illustrator to sketch his whole story in a cartoon format more suited to Jessica:
Amazingly, his ploy worked, and Jessica not only read the script, she raved about the cartoons! Unfortunately, the story was about a girl who comes back as a ghost, and Jessica gets freaked by ghosts.
Of course Jessica gets freaked by movie ghosts--she's retarded. She probably gets spooked by can-openers.

Oh bless her, she makes up for it with looks though. And the odd nipple slip always helps. I'm sure she'd annoy the crap out of me after about an hour though ;-)
