Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, thinks Daniel Smith's drug-related death was the result of foul play. Daniel died Sept. 10 while visiting his mom in a Nassau, Bahamas, hospital three days after Smith delivered his half-sister. Arthur hinted to CNN's Nancy Grace that Anna's new husband, Howard K. Stern, may have played a part in it:
"If Howard Stern marries (Smith) and she ends up dead, then who does (her) money go (to)?" Virgie Arthur mused to Grace. "There was only three people in that (hospital) room," she added. "Danny was one of them. I just know Danny didn't kill hisself. . . . Danny wouldn't take drugs to begin with. . . . Somebody had to give it to him," said Arthur, a former cop. "He had to get it from somewhere."
Leave it to a woman who uses words like "hisself" to uncover Howard K. Stern's master plo to steal millions of dollars. I look at the above picture of Virgie and think one thing: investigative juggernaut. Don't let that tremendous fe-mullet sway your opinion. A woman so dedicated to the art of international sleuthing must sometimes take necessary safety precautions with her appearance.
Howard is extremely creepy. I think Virg is on to somethin' with these accusations. I mean the woman has to be extremely edgamacated to use such big words as hisself. Please her name is Virgie Arthur and that just screams top notch investigator.
If Virgie Arthur really felt Howard K. Stern had something to do with Daniel's death and Anna Nicole Smith was in danger. Why did she do nothing? She was not there for Anna Nicole. She only added more grief for Anna Nicole.Now she wants Anna Nicole Smith's baby girl.It sounds like she wants the baby for the money. She knows Anna Nicole would not want her baby around her.(So called MOTHER.)

I don't for a second believe Howard had anything to do with Anna's death. I can remember watching Anna's show and thinking Howard was in love with her then. Besides Daniel, I think he is the only person who truly loved Anna, and Anna loved him and trusted him. They were getting married, so he didn't have to kill her for the money. If he intended for her to die he would have waited until they were legally married. All these people coming out of the woodwork want publicity or control of that little baby for the money. Who in their right mind would consider the opinion of that nut Bobby Trendy. That so called "Prince" is a joke, and I hate to say it, but that's all her mother wants too. The only person making a legitimate claim is Larry Birkhead...I do believe he had true feelings for Anna and thinks the baby is his. If so, he has every right to custody. While it may be a long shot, I personally hope the baby really is Howard's. He has been with her from the beginning, and Anna would want her with him. As for Howard saying that Anna's mother will never see the baby... well Anna publically said that herself. I think Howard Stern knows Anna's wishes better than anybody, and is the ONLY person who will honor them. There should be no question who handles her funeral, etc.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Of course he had something to do with it. You don't let someone you love flip out on drugs. He was so controlling. She tried calling her family after her son's death but what do you know the phone was slammed down. And the fact that he slept with his one and only client is disgusting. Now he's supposed to be executor. I don't know of any other lawyers who are executors of their client's will.
Stern has the MOST motivation and the most opportunity, the MOST to gain, he was seen giving Anna Nicole drugs - Vergie did nothing, because Stern wouldn't let her get near Anna, and Anna was so drugged out she couldn't do anything anyway. Stern is just another greedy maniac on the loose, he had it all planned out, from the looks of things. I feel sorry for Virgie and the baby; I hope they get justice. What amazes me is that even Nancy Grace, who thinks EVERYBODY is guilty, is not pointing the finger at Stern. Something very corrupt is up.
Virgie Arthur, as a "mother", should understand that Anna Nicole would want to be buried next to her son Daniel. It was very apparent how close the two of them were. Even though Virgie raised Daniel for the first six years of his life that doesn't mean that Anna didn't care about her son. Many other mothers have helped to raise their grandchildren when there is a need. And, how is Dannielynn going to perceive you Virgie when she sees the tapes of her mothers interview describing how Anna felt about you and then you fighting in court to bury her mother in Texas (which hasn't been home for awhile) instead of letting her rest next to her son. It's obvious where Anna chose to be laid to rest, otherwise why purchase additional plots. Let Dannielynn have her mother & brother together.

Howard Stern thinks its funny and is laughing at her... Stern then says to her, "What is it tonite, a mushroom party"? Anna looks like she is right out of it, and cant understand him...I think she is looking in a mirror, and looks confused and really really stoned...and pregnant!!!! I entirely agree with Diana P. ~~~~~ Little Dannielynn needs a real blood family, even with the natural of father with the normal life. DNA must be DONE. It should not ignored by the judge. I would not be happy unless it is done.
Something that no one has mentioned. Anna Nicole had been sick, with a fever of 105. The coroner mentioned that her heart looked inflammed. A distant cousin of mine, aged 14, recently died at school of a heart infection that no one even suspected that he had even though he was in good health and was playing basketball. It could be that this is what happened to her, especially if her heart was weakened from prior drug use.
I have never heard that her heart was inflamed, but Im sure things would be messed up a bit from doing drugs for sure.
Again...if you love someone you get them help, and not laugh at them when they are stoned and pregnant.
For one she should have been committed somewhere, cause she was harming her unborn child. Maybe Stern was drugging her....cause why would she harm her child? I mean she sure loved Daniel, so why harm Danilynn? I think I did one time hear an interview where she was bright, and she said she had at one time a problem with pills and booze. A person could keep drugging you, to use you and your possessions. Also knowing you had a prior addiction, use that info to be crooked.
Quite often it appeared to me that Anna Nicole was really trusting, and kinda innocent. I think she didnt do alot of schooling either.

Its a sad story with many twists, but a very interesting one as well....Its also interesting to see how all the court stuff comes out. It depends so often on who the judge is too.
I suspect that Howard K. Stern will be arrested and charged for their deaths. He is not the father and he scum. If Howard K Stern is executor and continues as counsel for the Marshall case he is still going to make plenty of money from Anna Nichole's death. I bet that's what he is trying to work out with Larry Birkhead. I'm sure Birkhead doesn't care what he makes so long as he can have his daughter. It was Stern's enabling advice which brought Anna to the Bahamas. I believe she never intended to leave Daniel in the Bahamas once the legal battle with Birkhead was exhausted. She still had to pay US taxes on all her earnings here anyway and there wouldn't be reason to stay there indefinitely. She had to address the Marshal issues here anyway. When Daniel died after getting off a plane with Stern and while Anna was trying desperately to resucitate him it was reported that she yelled at Stern that it was his fault that Daniel had collapsed from drugs. She knew that Stern fed her son drugs as he did for her. Her grief gave him the opportunity to continue to feed her drugs indiscriminantly until her untimely demise.
Why does everyone think howard gave drugs to daniel? with no disrespect to daniel. maybe he brought his own drugs with him. maybe he went to the mansion first for the methadone or any other drug he wanted. No Dr. would give daniel 2 different anti depressant medications so he got the drugs WHERE?
I don't think anyone could get anna off the drugs she was on. the woman was hooked and howard has stood beside her when anyone else would have been so embarrassed by her they would have run from her.

BTW, before reluctantly going to the Bahamas, Daniel himself had talked to a private investigator complaining of pretty much the same thing as her grandmother later would.
It is mind bogglingly convenient how this worked out for H. K. Stern-including J. Howard Marshall's sudden death from an "infection" before all of this. Whether or not you like Virgie Arthur's regional dialect, what she is saying very much came true!

BTW I thought it was really classy the way that Arthur didn't respond to the Stern's relentless and vindictive harrassment of her during the funeral.
That picture points out another interesting reality. The fact that Arthur raised Daniel his first six years while ANS looked for work. So she left her son with "that woman" who supposedly beat and raped ANS and who Anna said she'd never allow to "touch my child" [Danielyn].
I think Anna was easily led....at times so bombed out too,that she would believe what warped people were telling her.

I find it curious that the Bahama Court accepted a man who runs a DNA lab out of Ohio.
Some US Court should have the DNA tested by Law Enforcement Personnel
not a chosen DNA specialist.
And--No DNA has been performed on the child and matched to Anna Nicole Smith or Vicky Lynn --Law Enforcement should also do that.
This would clear up lots os speculation.
Because, it seems that Birkhead and Stern have reached some sort of agreement. I thought the Bahama Court did not want Stern to leave the Bahamas until after Daniel Smith Inquest, but he appears to be on US soil. If he is--then he probably traveled with Birkhead and Baby

Joan Crawford adopted children. After her death her daughter wrote a book about the abuse Joan Crawford dished out and titled it "Mommie Dearest". A movie was also made.
That clip of Anna sounds like rehearsal for a script of Mommie Dearest.
