The only rational explanation for these pictures of Nicole Richie eating is that they're elaborate fakes being passed by her photoshop-savvy publicist as authentic. Judging by the protruding bone and cartoon-like sunglasses, the head is clearly hers. The body I recognize from a story in the July 1991 issue of National Geographic titled "Reports from the Front: Tales of the Ethiopian Famine." I very clearly remember that issue because there was a photo-essay about African tribal women that I kept under my mattress for the first half on the 1990s.
